Who we are
London Water Treatment is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are a water treatment and water hygiene company based at Q West, 1110 Great West Road, Brentford TW8 0GP. Call 020 4532 7773 or email info@londonwatertreatment.com.
It covers londonwatertreatment.com and the enquiries we receive through it, and meets the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. There are no accounts, comments or logins on this site. Last updated August 2026.
What personal data we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, property type, service required and your message. Name, email address and message are the required fields. If you phone or email instead, we hold what you tell us.
- Job details The property address, access arrangements and any certificate deadline.
- Correspondence Emails and call notes, plus the reports and certificates we issue.
- Web server logs Standard host logs, which may record an IP address, browser type and pages requested.
- Not collected No card details, and no special category data such as health information.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, quote, arrange access, carry out the work and issue the certificate or report that goes with it. We do not add you to a marketing list, profile you, or make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager and no third party script. Every file a page needs is served from our own domain, so no other company is told that you visited.
There is therefore no cookie banner and nothing to accept or reject. If that changes, this page is updated first.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them and no longer. An enquiry that leads to no work is deleted once nothing is left open. Where work is carried out, the job record and the paperwork issued with it stay on file.
A certificate, risk assessment or tank cleaning record is part of the compliance history of a building, and a future duty holder may need a copy long after the visit. Ask us and we will tell you how long we hold it.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data and never share it for anyone else's marketing. It goes only where the work needs it, to the company that hosts this website, and to the UKAS accredited laboratory that analyses samples taken at your property.
Samples identify the site and sampling point rather than you, though a contact name is included so results reach the right person. We also disclose information where the law, a regulator or a court requires it, and anyone acting for us must keep it confidential.
Your rights over your data
Under the UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have our use of it restricted, object to how we use it, or ask for a portable copy. A request costs nothing and needs no reason.
We respond within one month. Deletion is not always possible, because a certificate can form part of a building's compliance record, and we will explain where that applies. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
